To comply with money laundering regulations we will require copies of two forms of identification, for example:
- a passport or driving licence
- and a recent utility bill or bank statement
You can upload these via this website or fax/post them to our office.
2 Your personal account manager and client number
Once you've registered, you'll receive your unique client number and be allocated a personal account manager to advise you, manage your currency transactions, and answer your questions.
You can call your account manager to discuss strategies, currency exchange products available to you and of course for the current market rates, all free of charge.
Each client has different requirements and our job is to tailor our service to suit your needs.
3 Currency exchange transactions with us
When you need to exchange currency, telephone your personal account manager quoting your client number. They will give you an exchange rate and if you are happy with it, confirm the transaction over the phone.
You will then be sent a deal contract by e-mail, fax or post. This contract will have all the details of the deal you have just entered into.
4 Payment for foreign currency you purchase
We do not deal in cash so you will need to transfer money from a bank account to our secure client account at Barclays Bank in London, via CHAPS or BACS. This is the most secure and efficient method. If you bank online this is the most cost-effective method of sending payment.
Our client account details will be given to you when you open an account with us and will be included in your deal contract.
Once we have received your payment in our client account by the agreed date we will send your currency to the destination you choose. A payment within the EU typically reaches the recipient account within 24-48 hours.
